Spring 2025 Season Updates

This past spring we competed in various 7's rugby tournaments in NC or SC. Each tournament we got a little better, and gradually became a very good team. We hit our stride at the right time in the Southern Rugby Conference 7's Finals and qualified for the National Collegiate Rugby CRC 7's tournament in Boyd's, Maryland. We competed against a bunch of good teams and all scores are below. In the end we played out best game and won the Division 2 CRC 7's National Championship!!! We are so proud of all the Players and Coaches this past season. More to come from UNCW. #RDP

Fall 2024 Season Updates​

UNCW Rugby finished the regular season with a record of 4-1. Our B side finished the season with a great season as well, where we had a full B side at all matches. In all it has been a great season that challenged us in all matches.

Next we played in the National Collegiate Rugby Playoffs in Culpepper, Virginia. We faced University of Vermont in our opening match, and it was tough physical match that we won 25-17. The next match was against defending National Champion IUP. This was another great match that we played great in, but came up just short and lost 29-24. IUP went on to win the National Championship.
